The 1199 New England Health Care Employees Pension Plan was established on January 1, 1991 in order to provide a retirement benefit for those members that are eligible. The New England employers who have a collective bargaining agreement with District 1199 make contributions on your behalf to a general trust which provides funding for the pension plan. As an employee you do not make any contributions to the Fund.
